Case #4

Single free standing implant
Patient: Male (62 years old)

This patient had five implants inserted in 1992 at the posterior molar area both on upper and lower jaw to support posterior bridge.

Another two implants were inserted last October 31, 2001 after tooth #22 and tooth #14 were extracted due to advanced decay. On the fourth month (February 28, 2002), implant head on abutment was screwed in (see arrows). The two implants are both free standing, meaning not connected to another implant or natural tooth.

Porcelain crowns were cemented last March 13, 2001. mirror was used for documentation to get the occlusal and incisal view (see arrows).

On July, impants were inserted in the lower right mandible/jaw to restore molars.

Six unots porcelain bridge supported independently by four implants

Patient: Male (53 years old)
Two dental implants were surgically inserted on February 13, 2001 and another two on July 31, 2001 after extractions of both upper and lower canines that failed.

Patient showing hi biggest smile. No more discomfort of removable denture. Patient much more comfortable now.

Five units porcelain fixed bridge were cemneted seven months later.

Patient: Male (53 years old)
Two dental implants were surgically inserted on February 13, 2001 and another two on July 31, 2001 after extractions of both upper and lower canines that failed.

Case #9

Full mouth dental implants

Patient: Female (46 years old)

Lower-jaw: Eight implant were inserted on December 1991. In June 1992, six months after a complete fixed porcelain bridge was installed.

Upper-jaw:  Three posterior implants were also inserted on December 1991.  Previous prosthesis (porcelain bridge) was supported by implants and four natural teeth.  in March 2000, all remaining natural teeth were extracted and replaced with additional six implants.

A complete fixed prosthesis was installed on October 2002, after wearing temporary plastic prosthesis for six months.

Five units porcelain fixed bridge were cemneted seven months later.
